Tends to slouch, hands in pockets. Dresses in dark robes when at work. At home prefers Muggle wear because denims tend to wear better amongst the dirt of the plants. Hates doing laundry, so most of his clothes are chosen for the lack of showing stains so he can focus on his daughter's laundry (she has much more variety amongst her things) and ignore any special needs for his own. He's excellent at charms and herbology, and especially excellent where the two combine. He's extremely adept at setting up charms and environments for plants to grow, and has an instinctive knowledge how to care for new plants and is good at determining what a new plant might be used for as well. He easily remembers anything to do with plants (as opposed to, well, everything else that he promptly forgets). Role in the war: Was a fierce Harry supporter from day one, and considered Harry, Ron and Hermione the best mates he had at Hogwarts. Severely anti-Dark since childhood (loathes the DEs for what they did to his Mum and Dad). Has never wavered. Is likely a member of the Order as it looked like he was going that way in Canon, and I think Gran is. Supported Harry in any way he could for the final battle (details TBD). History (emphasis on the period since 1997): Continued dating Luna Lovegood and married her after she graduated Hogwarts -- June 19, 1999. Began work at The Quibbler with Luna, co-editing. Bought a cottage in Ottery St. Catchpole -- small cottage, lots of land, which they charmed to be not noted by the Muggles. Their daughter Neomah was born on March 3, 2000. Neville and Luna traveled often in the early days at the Quibbler, investigating oddities for articles. They were hiking in the mountains in [TBD] on November 25, 2000, Neville carrying Neah in a backpack. Something happened and they slipped, and Luna fell into a deep crevasse. Neville was able to save himself and Neah, but despite valient effort, could neither save Luna nor reclaim her body. He brought back help, but nothing helped. He has since mourned her and pours all his affection into Neah, who reminds him dearly of Luna. Neville works at the Quibbler during the day. When Neah's school day is over, he either brings her back to the office, or takes his work home. He also has a greenhouse (Longbottom Greenhouse) which produces both flowers, houseplants, etc., as well as magical ingredients. He has a partner in the greenhouse (TBD).
